I am available for private trombone lessons in the Hartford, CT area and over Zoom. I teach students at all levels, from beginner to collegiate, and focus on creating a plan tailored to each student’s goals. A typical lesson begins with fundamental work, including breath work, mouthpiece buzzing, long tones, and other simple exercises designed to develop the skills we need as trombonists to approach more challenging repertoire. The remainder of the lesson is dedicated to the student’s repertoire, whether that be a piece for an upcoming concert, music for an upcoming audition, or simply something you’re interested in learning.
